2004: A four-year letterwinner, Danny Hill was named a Third-Team Academic All-American as a senior... was one of four NU track and field athletes to earn the other... graduated in August 2004 with a degree in finance.
2003: Hill ran the best race of his career at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships, where he won bronze in the 400-meter hurdles in a time of 52.13... indoors ran a team-best 1:10.73 in the 600-yard run to finish fourth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... ran as a leg on the NU 4x400-meter relay that finished third at the indoor conference meet and fourth at the outdoor meet... finished third in the 600 yards (1:13.70) at the Wildcat Invitational to open the season... won the 600 yards at the Holiday Inn Invitational (1:11.43), the adidas Classic (1:11.00), and the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational (1:11.53)... in addition to finishing third in the 400 hurdles at the outdoor conference meet, ran a time of 52.49 in the preliminaries of the NCAA Midwest Regional... finished fourth at the Ward Haylett Invitational.
2002: In the outdoor season, ran a personal-best time of 48.05 in the 400-meter dash at the Nebraska Twilight... indoors Hill posted a season-best time of 1:11.37 in the 600-yard run at the adidas Invitational... also ran his indoor personal-best time in the 800-meters (1:56.20) at the adidas Invitational... made the finals of the Big 12 indoor 600-yard run but was disqualified for a lane violation... his season-best performance in the 400-meter dash came at the Nebraska Last Chance Meet, where he ran a time of 49.45.
2001: Posted indoor season-best times in the 600 yards (1:12.42) and 400 meters (49.83)... posted a season-best time of 53.27 in the 400-meter hurdles at the Emporia State Relays.
High School: Ended an outstanding 2000 season with a fifth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (53.32) at the Footlocker High School National Championships in <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Raleigh, N.C... was the runner-up in the 300-meter hurdles (38.56) and 400 meters (49.03) at the 2000 Nebraska Class A state meet... finished second in the 800 meters (1:55.62) and sixth in the 400 meters (50.42) at the 1999 Nebraska Class A state meet... finished fourth in the 800 (1:55.63), fifth in the 400 meters (50.52) and anchored the 4x800-meter relay team (8:01.82) at the 1998 Nebraska Class A state meet.
