A native of Fremont, Neb., Alex Lamme was one of four members of the Nebraska track and field team to earn First-Team Academic All-America honors in 1996 and he would go on to be a second-team pick in 1997. A four-year letterwinner from 1994-97, Lamme won a national title indoors in 1996 as the 1,200-meter leg of NU’s DMR team that also holds the top-two times in school history. <?xml:namespace prefix="o" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office"?>

 

Lamme graduated in 1997 with a degree in business administration and economics.
