Zach Morris redshirted in the indoor track and field season... competed in one meet in the outdoor season... posted a 50.35 in the 400 meters at the Wichita State Invitational.

Before Nebraska (Blair HS)
Morris is one of two incoming Huskers from Blair High School in Blair, Neb... won three state titles and five medals overall for the Bears in Nebraska's Class B... ran the second leg of Blair's winning 4x800-meter relay and placed eighth in the 400 meters (52.34) as a junior... returned as a senior to run the second leg of the Bears’ 4x800-meter relay that set the meet and state record, as the team won its second straight title with a time of to 7:56.02... broke Grand Island Northwest's 1989 record of 7:56.09... won the 2010 Class B title in the 400 meters with a time of 48.93 and helped the Bears take eighth in the 4x400 relay.
