Indoor: Competed in five regular-season meets...set a long jump personal-best of 22-10 (6.96m) to finish eighth at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational.

2017 (Sophomore)
Indoor: Competed in three meets...posted an indoor season best in the long jump with a mark of 22-8 1/2 (6.92m) at the Nebraska Tune Up and finished fifth...took third at the adidas Classic.

Outdoor: Competed in four meets...set a season best at the Husker Spring Invitational, placing fourth with a mark of 24-1 1/2 (7.35m)...was third at the Nebraska Invitational.

Before Nebraska
Transferred to Nebraska from Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California….attended Tesoro High School in Rancho Santa Margarita, California...as a freshman at Saddleback in 2015, placed eighth in the California Junior College State Championships in the long jump…redshirted in 2016…set a long jump PR of 24-11 1/4 (7.60m)…posted a triple jump best of 44-1 1/2 (13.45m)...in high school, finished eighth in the long jump at the California CIF state meet...finished seventh in the long jump at the 2015 USATF Junior Outdoor Championships.

Born Lee Mitchell III on July 5, 1996...parents are Lee and Angela...earned bachelor's degree as a psychology major at Nebraska in December of 2018.
