Pieper was part of the Norfolk Catholic team that captured the 2007 Nebraska Class B state championship... coached by Tim Kasseier... finished 2007 with a bronze medal performance in the pole vault at the state meet (14-6)... was fourth in 2006 (14-2) and tied for third in 2005 (14-0) in the vault... set his personal best of 14-6 1/2 at the 2007 Bluejay Invitational in Pierce, Neb.
