2008 (Senior)

Tamara Solari capped her final season at Nebraska with third-straight All-Big 12 honor in the weight throw with a seventh-place finish at the Big 12 Indoor Championships...  competed in the weight throw at five meets during the indoor season... placed in the top seven at every meet... finished first at the Prairie Wolf Invite with a throw of 59-8 ? (18.19)... posted season-best throw of 60-8 ? (18.50) at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... competed in three outdoor meets in the hammer throw prior to season-ending injury...  earned a season-best throw of 158-2 (48.22) at the John Jacobs Invitational... ends Nebraska career ranked No. 5 in the weight throw and No. 9 in the hammer throw all-time at Nebraska.

2007 (Junior) 
Solari finished in the top five in five of seven indoor meets in 2007... ended the season with a strong performance at the Big 12 Championships, tossing the weight 59-11 for sixth place... concentrated on the hammer throw during the outdoor season, whirling a career-best 179-8 for seventh place at the Big 12 Championships... she is now a five-time All-Big 12 finisher...  went on to compete in her second consecutive NCAA Midwest Regional, where she finished 15th with a throw of 162-0.

2006 (Sophomore)
Solari placed sixth in the weight at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a toss of 61-4... recorded her career-best throw of 61-10 1/4 to finish runner-up at the Nebraska-Colorado State-Kent State Triangular... won the weight throw at both the adidas Classic (59-7) and Prairie Wolf Invitational (58-4 1/2)... claimed her first all-conference honor in the hammer throw with a seventh-place spin of 165-10 at the Big 12 outdoor meet... earned her first career bid to the NCAA Midwest Regional with a personal-best mark of 177-11 at the Kansas Relays... finished 21st at the regional meet... opened the outdoor season with a win in the B section at the Stanford Invite (172-2). 

 

2005 (Redshirt Freshman)
Solari earned fourth place at the Big 12 indoor meet in the weight throw with a season-best mark of 59-11... threw her previous season best of 56-7 1/2 a week earlier at the Iowa State Classic... placed fourth at the Cyclone NCAA Qualifer (54-10)... opened the indoor season with a win in the weight throw at the Holiday Inn Invite... recorded her previous career-best spin of 154-11 in the hammer throw to finish third at the John Jacobs Invite... finished eighth at the Doane Relays (152-6).

 

2004 (Freshman) 
Solari redshirted her freshman year while learning the hammer throw... participated unattached in three indoor and three outdoor meets... best throw of the indoor season was 48-4 3/4 in the weight throw at the adidas Classic... recorded a hammer throw best of 141-7 outdoors at the Nebraska Wesleyan Twilight. 

 

High School (Blue Valley West)
Solari threw a personal-best mark of 34-4 in the shot put to finish second in the 2002 Kansas Class 2A Region meet for Kansas City Christian as a junior... went on to throw 33-10 in the Class 2A state championships for a sixth-place finish... qualified for the 2003 Kansas Class 6A state championship for Blue Valley West but did not place... competed at the 2003 USA Weightlifting Junior Nationals where she placed fifth in the 75+ kilo class... coach by Dan Ammon.

Majoring in nutritional science and dietetics... parents are Michael and Patricia Solari... father is the offensive line coach for the Seattle Seahawks... holds Nebraska women's squat record at 415 pounds... born Feb. 11, 1985.
