2003: Shelldon Simpson had a solid first season in the scarlet and cream... tied a career-best time of 6.84 in the 60 meters indoors for a second-place finish at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational... also took silver in the 200-meter dash (21.72) at the Sevigne... recorded a personal-best 21.71 in the 200 for fourth place at the adidas Classic... won the 60 and 200 meters in his first NU meet at the Wildcat Invitational... ran a time of 6.92 in the semifinals of the 60 at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... outdoors Simpson clocked a season-best 10.53 in the 100 meters at the Ward Haylett Invitational, finishing fifth... tied a career-best time of 21.54 in the 200 in the preliminaries of the Big 12 Outdoor Championships... ran the anchor on the 4x100-meter relay team that finished fourth at the conference meet... won bronze in the 100 meters at the K.T.
