Sarah Plambeck Season 2013-14

2014 (Senior)
Sarah Plambeck participated in four meets for Nebraska throughout the 2014 indoor campaign… recorded a personal-best time of 2:21.56 in the 800 meters at the Nebraska Tune-Up… set a season-best time of 5:03.07 in the mile at the Nebraska Tune-Up… ran a time of 10:57.05 in the 3,000 meters at the Holiday Inn Invitational… also finished eleventh with her Distance Medley Relay team at the Big Ten Indoor Championships.

2013 (Junior)
Plambeck posted a personal-best time of 4:59.88 in the mile at the Nebraska Tune-Up... notched a personal-best time of 10:15.93 in the 3,000 meters at the adidas Classic on Jan. 19... posted a personal-best time of 4:38.87 in the 1,500 meters at the Crimson Tide Invite, establishing the second best team mark in the event...notched a first place finish at the Razorback Spring Invite in the 1,500-meters with a time of 4:44.80...gained another 1,500-meter victory at the Pre-Drake meet on April 24... named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar and earned academic All-Big Ten Honors... claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2012-13

2012 (Sophomore)
Plambeck recorded an indoor personal-best time of 2:23.59 in the 800 meters at the adidas Classic on Jan. 21... set a personal best of 5:07.60 in the mile at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational... competed in five meets during the outdoor season... notched a season-best time of 2:23.85 in the 800 meters at the K.T. Woodman Classic... posted an outdoor personal-best of 4:41.67 in the 1,500 meters at the Nebraska Invitational... recorded a personal-best 10:32.13 in the 3,000 meters at the Kansas Relays... honored with the Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Award... earned a spot on the fall 2011 and spring 2012 Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

2011 (Freshman)
Plambeck competed in five meets during the indoor track and field season... posted a personal-best 2:59.17 in the 1,000 meters at the Frank Sevigne Invitational... set a season-best time of 5:09.17 in the mile at the Nebraska Tune-Up... competed in four meets during the outdoor track and field season... posted a season-best time of 4:49.65 in the 1,500 meters at the Nebraska Open on May 1.

Before Nebraska (Lincoln Christian)
Plambeck joined Nebraska after a prep career at Lincoln Christian High School under Coach Sam Nelson... debuted at the Class C state meet as a freshman, earning three medals in the 400 meters, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay... earned four more medals as well as her first state title as a sophomore... was a member of the Crusaders’ first-place 4x800-meter relay and also medaled in the 400, 800 and 4x400 relay... brought home three more gold medals as a junior, including an individual title in the 1,600 meters, while the Crusaders won the 4x400 relay and defended their title in the 4x800-meter relay with Plambeck as the anchor... was slowed by a foot injury her senior year, but still captured four medals with third-place finishes in the 800 and 4x400.
