Payton Davidson came to Nebraska after competing at Nebraska Wesleyan University… set a personal best in the discus at Wesleyan in 2012 with a distance of 161-6 (49.22) at the Nebraska Mini-Meet…recorded another personal-best mark of 130-9 (39.85) in the hammer throw competition at the 2012 Nebraska Wesleyan/Doane Dual… finished third in the dicsus at the 2012 GPAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships with a 158-5 1/4 (48.29) third place showing… while attending Waverly High School, earned a seventh place finish in the discus at the 2011 Nebraska Class B State Track and Field Championships.
