2005: Michaela Lenihan, also a member of the Husker cross country team, redshirted during both indoor and outdoor seasons. 2004: Lenihan set indoor personal bests of 5:11.41 in the mile at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational and 3:03.98 in the 1,000 meters at the Prairie Wolf Invitational (fifth)... earned silver in the 1,500 meters at the Nebraska Wesleyan Twilight with an outdoor career-best time of 4:51.9... ran a then-personal best of 3:04.30 in the 1,000 meters to finish fifth at the Holiday Inn Invitational. 2003: Lenihan ran a then-career-best time of 5:22.51 in the indoor mile at the KSU Open... clocked a time of 11:03.50 over 3,000 meters indoors at the Holiday Inn Invitational... took second in the mile at the Wildcat Invitational... ran a personal best of 2:22.9 in the outdoor 800-meter run at the Nebraska Wesleyan Twilight... set a then-career-best time of 5:05.94 in the outdoor 1,500 meters at the Kansas Relays. High School: Lenihan was a member of the record-setting 4x800-meter relay team that won the 2000 Nebraska Class A state championship with a time of 9:21.47... best time in the 3,200 meters is 11:38.16... in cross country, finished fifth as a senior at the 2001 Class A Nebraska state meet... also finished seventh as a junior and sixth as a sophomore in the state cross country championships.
