2005: Matt Senske, wo also plays fullback for the Cornhusker football team, competed outdoors for Nebraska track and field mainly in the javelin... set personal-best distances of 171-8 in the javelin at the Emporia State Relays and 135-2 in the discus at the Doane Relays. 2004: Senske spent the spring concentrating on learning to throw the javelin... redshirted during the season, but participated unattached in four meets outdoors... had then-personal bests in both the javelin (169-8) and discus (140-2) in the Mid-States Collegiate Open in Fremont, Neb. High School: Senske qualified for the 2002 and 2003 Nebraska Class A state meet in the discus, but did not finish in the scoring places.
