2010 (Junior/Sophomore)
Matt Conahan opened the indoor season with a personal-best time of 8:55.73 in the 3,000 meters... ran the 800, 1,000 meters and mile the rest of the indoor season... was slowed with injury during the outdoor season... competed in the 1,500 meters twice at the Nebraska Invitational (4:10.10) and Kansas Relays (4:10.79).
2009 (Sophomore/Redshirt Freshman)
After a solid start to the indoor season, Conahan was slowed by a hamstring injury and struggled with a virus for most of the outdoor season... posted two runner-up finishes in the 1,000 meters during the indoor season at the Holiday Inn Invitational and the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational... focused on the 800 meters during the outdoor season... highlighted the year with a season-best time of 1:54.96 at the Nebraska Invitational to take fifth.
2008 (Freshman)
Conahan became the 23rd-best performer in Nebraska indoor history in the 1,000 meters at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational with a time of 2:27.48... competed at eight meets during the indoor season... made huge improvements in the mile, posting a time of 4:10.75 to finish second at the Conference Challenge... followed with a time of 4:10.46 on a 300-meter oversized track at the Iowa State Classic... led off the eighth- place DMR at the Big 12 Indoor Championships (10:09.67)... competed in the 800 and 1,500 meters at the Jim Click Shootout, the first meet of the outdoor season... was forced to sit out the remainder of the outdoor season with mononucleosis and was granted a medical hardship.
Before Nebraska (Millard North HS)
Conahan won two Nebraska Class A and All-Class gold medals on the track under Coach Mike Neeman... won the 800-meters (1:53.81) at the 2006 state meet and anchored the winning 4x800-meter relay (7:58.23) at the 2007 meet... repeated his state 800 title in 2007, anchored the runner-up 4x400-meter relay and was seventh in the 1,600... ran on the winning 4x400-meter relay and the third-place 4x800-meter relay at the 2006 state meet... was the 2005 Nebraska Class A state cross country champion.
