2005: Mark Harrison will compete outdoors in 2006 after exhausting his indoor eligibility last season... had a breakout season in the 400-meter hurdles and advanced to the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the first time, where he finished 17th in the prelims with a time of 51.33... set a career-best time of 50.75 to finish third at the NCAA Midwest Regional and advance to nationals... finished seventh at the Big 12 outdoor meet (52.01)... just missed winning the Big 12 indoor crown in the 600-yard run with a career-best second-place 1:10.25... ran the lead-off leg of NU’s third-place 4x400-meter relays at both conference indoor (3:10.66) and outdoor (3:07.61) meets... won the 400-meter hurdles outdoors at the Nebraska Invitational (52.25), while finishing second at the John Jacobs Invitational (51.97)... claimed third place at the Stanford Invitational in 52.02... ran the lead leg of NU’s winning 4x400-meter relay at the Kansas Relays (3:12.12)... earned second place indoors in the 600 yards at the Husker Invitational with a then-personal best time of 1:10.57. 2004: Harrison ran the third leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that placed ninth at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a time of 3:09.66... ran a strong third leg on the runner-up 4x400-meter relay team at the Big 12 Indoor Championships in 3:11.26... placed seventh in the 600-yard run at the indoor conference meet in a time of 1:11.02... set his personal-best time of 48.44 in the 400 meters to claim silver at the Prairie Wolf Invite... had set the previous mark of 49.39 two weeks earlier to finish second at the Tiger Classic... season-low mark of 1:11.01 in the 600 yards earned him second place at the Holiday Inn Invite... ran the 800 meters once indoors, collecting bronze in 1:55.69 to open the season at the Panther Open... competed individually in only two meets outdoors... finished second in the 400 meters (49.44) at the K.T. Woodman Classic... due to injury, he was granted a medical hardship by the Big 12 Conference. 2003: Harrison took a sixth-place finish in the 600-yard run with a then-career-best time of 1:10.89 at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, and came across the line third in the 400-meter hurdles at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships before being disqualified for a trail-leg violation... ran as a member of NU’s 4x400-meter relay team that finished third at the Big 12 indoor meet and fourth at the outdoor championships... clocked a season-best time of 49.93 in the 400 meters at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite... won silver, finishing behind teammate Danny Hill at the adidas Classic over 600 yards (1:11.00)... outdoors ran an NCAA Regional-qualifying time of 52.04 to win the Ward Haylett Invite... ran 52.70 in the preliminaries of the NCAA Midwest Regional, but did not advance to the finals. 2002: During the indoor season, ran a season-best time of 1:12.42 in the 600-yard run at the Prairie Wolf Invite... ran a career-best time in the 800 meters (1:55.01) at the Nebraska Last Chance Meet... outdoors, ran a season-best 49.94 in the 400 meters at the Kansas State, Wyoming Triangular... ran a season-best 1:54.48 over 800 meters at the Nebraska Twilight.
