High School: Mackenzie Jeffrey, also a member of the Husker cross country program, arrived at Nebraska as a four-year qualifier for the Nebraska Class B state meet... was the runner-up finisher in the 1,600-meter run as a junior in 2005 (4:30.48), while also competing in the 800 meters... finished third in the 1,600 (4:25.97) and fifth in the 800 (1:58.28) as a senior at the 2006 Class B state meet... also competed in the 800 and 1,600 as a sophomore in 2004 and in the 1,600 as a freshman in 2003, but was unable to claim a scoring place.
