Josh Jochim Season 2012-13

2014 (Freshman)
Josh Jochim competed in four meets throughout the 2014 indoor season for the Huskers… recorded a personal-best throw of 50-8 ¾ (15.46) in a third place weight throw showing at the Nebraska Tune-Up… posted a season-best mark of 48-0 ¾ (14.65) at the Nebraska Tune-Up where he finished seventh.

2013 (Redshirt)
Jochim redshirted the 2013 indoor season... recorded a throw of 46-9 (14.25) in the shot put at the Nebraska Tune-Up... recorded a personal-best throw of 41-6 1/2 (12.66) in the weight throw also at the Nebraska Tune-Up... claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters.

Before Nebraska (Platteview)
Jochim joined the Huskers from Platteview High School in Springfield, Neb... finished third in the shot put at the 2012 Nebraska State Track and Field Championships with a throw of 54-6 1/4... recorded an indoor personal best of 54-7 1/2 in the shot put and an outdoor personal best of 57-11 (17.65) in the shot put and 152-5 (46.45) in the discus... finished second in the shot put at the 2011 Nebraska State Track and Field Championships with a throw of 54-2... recorded a throw of 147-4 in the discus at the 2011 state meet... was a two-time conference champion in the shot put... captured 16 shot put titles throughout his high school career.

Josh is the son of Bill and Kathy Jochim... was born on Jan. 10, 1994... is a marketing major at Nebraska.
