Wright competed in the 5,000 meters at the Mark Colligan Memorial, posting a time of 18:55.70... competed in two meets during the outdoor season... posted a time of 41:05.75 in the 10,000 meters at the Kansas Relays... recorded a time of 18:41.29 in the 5,000 meters at the Nebraska Invitational... was named to the spring 2012 Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
Before Nebraska (Bellevue West/Marquette)
Wright transferred to Nebraska after one semester at Marquette University... was a Nebraska Super-State athlete at Bellevue West High School... finished fourth at the 2010 Nebraska State Cross Country Meet and seventh in 2008... finished fourth in the 3,200 meters and sixth in the 1,600 meters at the 2011 Nebraska State Meet... recorded outdoor personal bests of 2:26 in the 800 meters, 5:21 in the mile, 11:35 in the 3,200 meters and 19:49 in the 5,000 meters... valedictorian of her senior class... four-year honor roll recipient... three-time All-Metro Cross Country and Track and Field Academic Team... member of the honor society... also named the Bellevue Lead Runner of the Year.
