2010 (Freshman)
James Berger competed at two meets both indoor and outdoors as an unattached athlete... hit a personal best of 45-1 in the weight throw during the indoor season at the Nebraska Tune-Up... ended the outdoor season with a hammer throw mark of 143-1 at the Nebraska Open.

 

Before Nebraska (Ralston HS)

Berger joined the Nebraska track and field team prior to the start of the 2010 spring semester and will work to become a contributor to the NU throws squad... was a three-time letterman in football and track and field at Ralston High School... holds a personal best of 141-7 in the discus... was a member of the National Honor Society... chose Nebraska over Drake and Nebraska-Omaha.
