2005: Frances Keating was a major contributor as a freshman for the Husker women’s team, as she scored points in multiple events at the Big 12 Championships... reached the NCAA Outdoor Championships in the 100-meter hurdles and finished 23rd overall (13.86)... scored in a team-high four events at the Big 12 outdoor meet, including a runner-up finish in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best time of 57.87... also finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles (13.50), 4x400-meter relay (3:39.07) and 4x100-meter relay (45.18)... also qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regional in each event... finished sixth at regionals in the 100-meter hurdles (13.61)... won gold at the Kansas Relays in 13.51... earned seventh place in the 400-meter hurdles at the Texas Relays in 59.36... claimed fourth place in the 60-meter hurdles at the indoor conference meet in a career-best 8.46... finished third in the hurdles at the Iowa State Classic in 8.53... reached the provisional qualification for the NCAA indoor meet for the 4x400-meter relay in 3:35.59 at the Cyclone NCAA Qualifier. High School: Keating had a standout career as one of the top prep hurdlers in Canada... two-time Canadian Junior Champion in the 100-meter hurdles... ran a personal best of 13.57 to win the 2004 Canadian junior title while running 13.99 to win in 2003... was the Canadian junior 400-meter hurdle champion in 2004 (59.32), 2003 (1:01.52) and 2002... her mark of 1:01.62 in the 2002 junior championships is the Canadian youth (under-17) record... at the 2003 Pan-American Junior Championships finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles (13.94) and sixth in the 400-meter hurdles (1:01.58)... ran in the 2004 World Junior Championships in Grosseto, Italy, in the 100-meter hurdles and the 4x100-meter relay, but did not advance to the finals... won five OFSAA (Ontario high schools) individual titles in the hurdles.
