High School: Dustin Somerville attended Pikes Peak Community College in Colorado Springs, Colo., for one year before enrolling at Nebraska while recovering from wrist surgery... put together a superb prep career at Liberty High School that included the 2004 Colorado Class 4A title in the pole vault as a senior with a Class 4A meet-record height of 15-8 1/4... won every meet during his senior campaign... placed sixth at the state meet as a junior in 2003 with a clearance of 12-6, and reached 13-0 at the 2002 state meet to finish fourth as a sophomore despite suffering from a wrist injury... earned third place as a freshman at the 2001 state meet with a vault of 13-6. Personal: High school coaches were Spook Hailk and Mike Stevens... major is mechanical engineering... parents are Edward and Diana Somerville... born Feb. 27, 1986.
