Following his Nebraska track and field career, Devandrew Johnson joined the Husker coaching staff as a recruiting assistant in June of 2015. Johnson was a captain for the Huskers in his senior season.

Indoor: Recorded a personal-best mark of 50-6 3/4 (15.41) in the triple jump at the Mark Colligan Memorial to take the title...took second at the New Mexico Invitational, third at the Holiday Inn Invitational and fourth at the Frank Sevigne in the triple jump...posted a personal-best long jump of 23-8 3/4 (7.23) to finish runner-up at the Mark Colligan Memorial...placed sixth in the long jump and seventh in the triple jump at the 2014 Big Ten Indoor Championships. Outdoor: Recored a personal best in the long jump with a distance of 24-1 3/4 (7.36) at the Arkansas Spring Invite and competed at the Big Ten Championships, finishing with a distance of 23-10 (7.26)...in the triple jump, posted a personal best at the Kansas Relays with a distance of 49-10 (15.19)...finished eighth at the Big Ten Championships and 28th at the NCAA West Prelims...earned a Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award and was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Finished seventh at the 2013 Big Ten Outdoor Championships in Columbus, Ohio with a mark of 49-1 3/4 (15.16) in the triple jump...set a season-best mark of 6-7 1/2 (2.02) in the high jump at the Razorback Invitational...notched a jump of 48-3 1/4 (14.71) in the triple jump at the Nebraska Tune-Up...recorded a season-best long jump of 22-0 1/4 (6.71) at the NWU Invite...finished 12th in the triple jump at the 2013 Big Ten Indoor Championships, posting a mark of 47-10 1/2 (14.59)...participated in the triple jump five times during the 2013 outdoor season...opened the outdoor campaign with a personal-best 49-10 (15.19) in the triple jump, good enough for first place at the Nebraska Quad...earned a Nebraska Student-Athlete HERO Leadership Award.

Before Nebraska (Evanston Township)
A product of Evanston Township High School in Evanston, Ill., was a two-time state qualifier for the Wildkits in Illinois’ largest class, 3A...won his first state medal in 2010 as a member of the fourth-place 4x200-meter relay.
