2010 (Sophomore)
Dale Ervin redshirted the entire 2010 season due to a foot injury.

2009 (Freshman)

Ervin focused on the 200 meters both indoors and outdoors in his first season at Nebraska... started his collegiate career with a third-place finish at the Conference Challenge... ran 21.73 in the preliminaries of the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational for the ninth-best time and then ran a personal best of 21.69 in the finals to finish sixth... posted an oversized-best time of 21.58 at the ISU Classic to finish sixth on the Lied Center’s 300-meter oval... posted back-to-back third-place finishes during the outdoor season at the John McDonnell Invitational and Nebraska Quad... ran a personal best of 21.05 in the preliminaries of the Big 12 Outdoor Championships to finish sixth... improved one spot in the finals with a time of 21.32 to earn his first career All-Big 12 honor... capped the year at the NCAA Midwest Regionals, finishing 18th with a time of 21.11.

 

Before Nebraska (Omaha Burke HS)

Ervin came to Nebraska after a solid career at Omaha Burke High School under Coach Mike Mingo... qualified in Class A for the 100-meter dash and was on the fourth-place 4x100-meter relay at the 2006 Nebraska state meet... returned to the state meet in 2007 to finish third in the 100 meters... finished first at the 2007 USATF Nebraska Junior Olympics young men’s 100-meter dash with personal-best time of 10.5... missed the 2008 season due to injury... chose Nebraska over Minnesota, Iowa State and Drake.

 

Personal

Parents are Greg Ervin and Jan Bowder... born Dec. 6, 1989... majored in finance... earned his bachelor's degree from Nebraska in December of 2012.
