2006: Corlan Vonderschmidt posted career-best totals in both the heptathlon indoors and decathlon outdoors during his junior season... finished ninth in the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational heptathlon with a personal-best total... scored 5,115 points in the decathlon at the Audrey Walton Decathlon despite no-heighting in the high jump... set outdoor personal bests in the 1,500 meters, shot put and discus... threw the javelin a career-best 172-8 at the Doane Relays. 2005: Vonderschmidt scored his previous career-high 4,048 points in the heptathlon at the Husker Invite... notched 2,930 points during the Carol Robinson Pentathlon... threw the javelin a then-lifetime-best distance of 156-10 at the Nebraska Invite... set personal-best outdoor marks of 17.28w in the 110-meter hurdles at the Emporia State Relays. 2004: Vonderschmidt set a then-personal-best score of 3,999 in the indoor heptathlon at the Husker Invite... recorded 3,921 points to finish fourth at the season-opening Panther Open... competed only once during the outdoor season at the Jim Click Shootout because of injury. 2003: Vonderschmidt redshirted in 2003 to work on the decathlon events.
