High School: Chris Clymer (pronounced CLIME-er), also a member of the Husker cross country program, will help provide much-needed depth to the Nebraska men’s distance corps as a freshman in 2006... was a three-year qualifier for the Nebraska Class A state meet at Lincoln North Star High School... claimed three all-class gold medals as a senior at the 2005 Nebraska state meet in the 800 meters, 1,600 meters and 4x800-meter relay... anchored the Navigators’ relay that ran a time of 7:40.11, third-fastest in the nation in 2005, at the Nike Outdoor Championships in Greensboro, N.C.... returned the next day to run a personal-best time of 1:53.07 in the 800... placed second in the 800 as a junior at the 2004 Nebraska Class A state meet and anchored the third-place 4x800-meter relay... ran the leadoff leg for the fourth-place 4x800-meter relay as a sophomore in 2003... also qualified for the Nebraska Class A cross country state meet his final three years at North Star.
