Channing Anseth competed in two meets during the indoor track season... ran the 5,000 meters at the Conference Challenge and the Prairie Wolf Invite... finished fourth at the Conference Challenge (17:53.40) and second at the Prairie Wolf (17:47.28).
2007 (Junior / Sophomore)
Anseth notched a second-place finish at the Prairie Wolf Invite in the 3,000-meters with a career-best time of 10:08.68... finished 11th in the 5,000 meters at the 2007 Big 12 Indoor Championships with a time of 17:22.41
2006 (Sophomore)
Anseth provided the Husker women’s distance crew with a boost following a standout junior season on the cross country course... produced an All-Big 12 season on the track indoors before redshirting during the outdoor campaign... finished fifth in the 5,000 meters at the Big 12 indoor meet with a personal-best, NCAA provisional-qualifying time of 16:38.54... opened her Husker career with a win in the 5,000 meters at the Holiday Inn Invite (17:21.00)... also won the College section at the Tyson Invite with a clocking of 17:11.37... earned second place (17:11.73) behind teammate Kayte Tranel at the Nebraska-Colorado State-Kent State Triangular.

Anseth transferred to Nebraska after one season at Division II St. Cloud State (Minn.)... competed in cross country and swimming as a Husky.
High School (Lincoln Southeast)
Anseth competed in the Nebraska Class A state track meet as a freshman, junior and senior for LincolnSoutheastHigh School under Coach Dave Nebel... twice placed in the 3,200-meter run at the state meet, including a fifth-place finish as a senior in 2004 and a sixth-place finish as a freshman in 2001... helped lead Southeast to the Class A team title as a freshman... was a member of the National Honor Society.
