2005: Cassidy "Bubba" Kramer experienced a successful freshman indoor campaign before struggling oudoors with a back injury... set an indoor-personal best in the shot put with a throw of 60-4 to earn the bronze medal at the Big 12 Indoor Championships... vaulted to eighth on NU’s all-time indoor chart with the performance... recorded his first NCAA provisional-qualifying mark the week before with a winning heave of 59-3 at the KSU Open... also won the Holiday Inn (56-11 1/2) and Husker Invitationals (57-11 1/4), while earning silver at the adidas Classic (57-4 1/4) and Northern Iowa Invitational (56-10)... recorded a career-best and regional-qualifying performance to open the outdoor season at the Stanord Invitational (56-10 1/4)... earned 12th place at the Big 12 outdoor meet (55-5 1/2). 2004: Kramer redshirted during his first campaign as a Husker... competed unattached indoors in the shot put, finishing third at the Prairie Wolf Invite (54-3 3/4) and fourth at both the Holiday Inn Invite (52-8 3/4) and adidas Classic (54-11 1/4)... competed unattached during the outdoor season in the shot and discus... placed first in the shot at the Concordia Invite with a throw of 50-10 1/2... best throw of 54-4 1/4 outdoors came in the Nebraska Wesleyan Twilight, where he placed third... finished ninth in the discus at the Nebraska Quadrangular with a season-best spin of 153-1.

High School: Kramer was a two-time Nebraska Class C state champion in the shot put and a state champion in the discus... finished as the Class C gold medalist as both a junior (59-3 1/2) and senior (60-1), was second as a sophomore (55-4 3/4) and sixth as a freshman (51-4)... won the Nebraska Class C discus title as a senior, took third as a junior (158-0) and fifth as a sophomore (152-7)... recorded the Nebraska Class C state shot put record of 62-10 at the 2003 District C-7 meet in Battle Creek... set a personal best in the discus with a mark of 174-0 at the Northeast Nebraska Classic in Norfolk.
