Blake Micek redshirted the 2013 indoor season... posted a personal-best time of 7.18 in the 60 meters at the NWU Invite... recorded a personal-best time of 22.95 in the 200 meters at the NWU Invite.

Before Nebraska (Hastings St. Cecilia)
Micek came to Nebraska from Hastings St. Cecilia High School in Hastings, Neb... won the 100 meters (10.97) at the 2012 Nebraska Class C State Track and Field Championships, becoming a three-time state champion in the event... finished first in the 200 meters (22.17) at the 2012 State meet... captured the 100 meters at the 2011 Nebraska Class C State Track and Field Championships with a time of 10.85... also recorded a first-place finish in the 200 meters at the 2011 state meet, finishing with a time of 22.21... became a state champion in 2010 with a first-place finish in the 100 meters (10.82), also finished third in the 200 meters (22.51).
