2008 (Senior)
Andrew Pearson was a key member of the Huskers 4x400-meter relay team, helping the team to a third-place finish at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships (3:06.43) and a fourth-place finish at the indoor championships (3:08.76)... competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional for the third straight year in the 400-meter hurdles... finished 19th with a time of 53.71... specialized in the 600-yard run during the indoor season... placed in the top five at all three meets during the regular season... finished sixth at the Big 12 Indoor Championships with a time of 1:10.74... ran a career-best 1:10.37 at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational to finish first and move into the No. 12 spot all-time indoor at Nebraska.
2007 (Junior)
Pearson had a solid junior season that included a trip to the NCAA Midwest Regional during his outdoor campaign... set personal records in the 400-hurdles four times during the outdoor season, qualifying for the regional with a time of 51.99 as he garnered second place in the John Jacobs Invite... highlight of his outdoor season was his sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles (51.98) at the Big 12 Championships, following a personal best 51.90 in the prelims... progressed slowly to return to top competitive form during the indoor season... his best indoor race was in the prelims of the Big 12 Championships where his season-best 48.71 was not fast enough to advance to the finals.
2006 (Sophomore)
Pearson returned to action following a redshirt season due to knee surgery... earned a pair of all-conference honors at the Big 12 Indoor Championships by finishing sixth in the 400-meter dash and fourth in the 4x400-meter relay... ran a season-best time of 48.01 in the 400 prelims... cut his personal best in the 400-meter hurdles outdoors by more than two full seconds with his top mark of 52.14 in the prelims of the Big 12 outdoor meet, qualifying for regionals for the first time... also ran on NU’s fifth-place 4x440-yard relay (3:10.29) at the conference meet... ran on the team’s season-best 4x400-meter relay effort (3:07.37) at the Texas Relays that qualified for regionals... placed 19th in the 400 hurdles at the NCAA Midwest Regional and 12th in the 4x400 relay... previously set career-best hurdle times at the Stanford Invite (53.31) and the Kansas Relays (53.02).
2005 (Sophomore)
Pearson redshirted during both indoor and outdoor seasons while rehabilitating a knee injury... competed unattached outdoors at the Nebraska Wesleyan Twilight and Nebraska Invite.
2004 (Freshman)
Pearson competed at the NCAA Indoor Championships as a freshman on the 4x400-meter relay team that finished ninth in 3:09.99... the team earned silver at both the Big 12 indoor and outdoor meets... placed fourth in the 4x400-meter relay at the NCAA Midwest Regional in 3:10.20... claimed fourth at the indoor conference meet in the 400 meters with a personal-best time of 47.26... time of 48.52 in the 400 prelims at the outdoor conference meet did not qualify for the finals... set an outdoor personal record of 47.39 in the 400 to win the Nebraska Quadrangular.
High School (Seward)
Pearson had a fantastic 2003 Nebraska Class B state meet by winning titles in the 200-meter dash (22.74), 400-meter dash (49.70) and the 110-meter hurdles (14.33), as well as placing second in the 100-meter dash (11.26)... coached by Brent Jackman and Kurt Holliday... winning mark earned the all-class gold medal in the 110-meter hurdles for the second straight year... at the 2002 Class B meet, won four gold medals for his efforts in the 200-meter dash (22.44), 110-meter hurdles (14.40), 4x100-meter relay and the 4x400-meter relay... as in 2003, his 110-meter hurdle performance earned the all-class gold medal... set personal best of 10.7 in the 100-meter dash at the 2003 Knights of Columbus meet... career-best mark of 13.9 in winning the 2003 Aurora Invitational was the top mark in the state for the season... won the 2002 Nebraska USATF state Junior Olympics 110-meter hurdles in 14.32... set a personal-best 55.77 in the 400-meter hurdles in the 2002 USATF National Junior Olympics held in <?xml:namespace prefix="st1" ns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags"?>Omaha.
