2011 (Sophomore)
Adam Mitteis (pronounced MET-us) continually progressed through the season and recorded a personal best in the 1,000 meters at the Nebraska Tune-Up with a time of 2:32.95... competed in four meets during the outdoor track and field season... posted a season-best time of 4:12.75 in the 1,500 meters at the Nebraska Open.

2010 (Redshirt Freshman) 
Mitteis set a season best in the 1,000 meters at his second meet of the indoor season with a 2:35.47 at the adidas Classic... capped the indoor campaign with a personal best of 4:23.82 in the mile at the Nebraska Open... ran the 1,500 meters at four meets during the outdoor season, including a season-best time of 4:06.67 at the Kansas Relays.

2009 (Freshman)
Mitteis competed once during the indoor season before suffering an injury and then redshirted the outdoor season... received a medical hardship for the indoor season... ran the 3,000 meters (9:40.22) during his lone indoor competition... competed once as an unattached athlete during the outdoor season at the Nebraska Invitational, running the 1,500 meters (4:06.02).

Before Nebraska (Plattsmouth HS)
Mitteis won seven Nebraska Class B state titles at Plattsmouth High School... qualified for the state meet in at least two events all four years of high school under Coach Todd Nott... won the 1,600 meters (4:25.64) and was a member of the championship 4x800-meter relay (8:04.49) as a junior... returned in 2008 to win the 800 (1:55.62) and 1,600 (4:27.39) meters as well as the All-Class gold medal in the 4x800-meter relay (7:58.43) while also finishing second to Husker teammate Jesse Adams in the 3,200 meters... won the Class B state cross country title as a freshman and senior.
