Indoor: Won the shot put at the Nebraska Tune-Up with a 52-7 1/4 (16.03m) and finished as runner-up at the Prairie Wolf Invitational with a 52-5 1/4 (15.98m)…posted a personal-best 53-0 3/4 (16.17m) in the shot put at the Graduate Classic, taking fifth…added a fifth-place finish at the Mark Colligan Memorial with a mark of 50-8 3/4 (15.46m).
2023
Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Brought in a pair of top-ten finishes at the Big Ten Championships, finishing ninth in the discus (177-5, 54.08m) and 10th in the javelin (202-5, 61.70m)…pitched in a season-best 182-4 (55.57m) to win the discus at the KSU Ward Haylett…finished in the top five at the Michael Johnson Invitational and the Jim Click Shootout in the javelin…recorded a season-best throw of 224-8 (68.47m) to finish as javelin runner-up at the Bobcat Invitational.
2022
Indoor: Competed unattached at the Nebraska Tune-Up in the shot put, finishing sixth place with a throw of 15.46m.
Outdoor: Finished 44th at the NCAA West Preliminaries in the javelin, throwing 57.58m... Placed fourth in the javelin and ninth in the discus at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, throwing season-best marks of 63.21m and 54.28m respectively... Was also a member of the 4x100 relay that finished fourth place at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships, finishing in a time of 40.00... Recorded four top-5 finishes in the javelin throughout the season, at the ASU Invitational (2nd - 61.84m), John McDonnell Invitational (3rd - 60.59m), Michael Johnson Invitational (4th - 62.07m), and the Big Ten Outdoor Championships (4th - 63.21m).
2021
Indoor: Did not compete.
Outdoor: Placed eighth in the javelin (201-1, 61.29m) and 21st in the discus (158-7, 48.33m) at the Big Ten Outdoor Championships…Had a season-best finish of runner-up in the javelin (188-3, 57.38m) at the M City Classic…Posted a season-best mark in the discus (161-4, 49.18m) with a ninth-place finish at the Indiana Big Ten Invite.
Before Nebraska
Attended Lincoln East High School...named Nebraska Gatorade Track & Field Athlete of the Year in both 2019 and 2020...won the all class state title in the discus as a junior in 2019 (187-0)...set a discus PR of 192-0, which led all Nebraska high school throwers in 2019...had a shot put PR of 55-2 1/4, which helped him finish fourth at the Nebraska Class A state meet...was the runner-up in the discus at the 2019 USATF National Junior Olympics...placed ninth at the 2019 New Balance Outdoor National Championships in the discus...finished second in the discus at the 2018 Nebraska Class A state meet...named the USATF Nebraska Association Junior Olympics Athlete of the Year for the 15/16 boys division after taking first place.

Born June 7, 2002...father, Dave, and mother, Amy (Fox) were Husker throwers in the 1980s...sister, Shelby, is also a thrower for the Huskers...major is nutrition & health sciences.
