Malone earned second-team All-America honors in the women’s javelin at the 2013 NCAA Outdoor Championships, posting a 10th-place finish and a throw of 159-6 (48.62)... finished third in the javelin at the 2013 Big Ten Outdoor Championships with a personal-best throw of 166-0 (55.60)... competed in the heptathlon at the Kansas Relays and recorded a personal-best 4,369 points... notched outdoor personal-best marks of 2:34.82 in the 800 meters, 17.72 in the 100-meter hurdles, 4-8 1/4 (1.43) in the high jump, 17-0 3/4 (5.20) in the long jump and 38-4 (11.68) in the shot put... redshirted the 2013 indoor season... finished with a personal-best time of 27.19 in the 200 meters at the NWU Invite... notched a personal-best time of 9.31 in the 60-meter hurdles at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite... posted a personal-best time of 2:30.15 in the 800 meters at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite... recorded a personal-best high jump of 4-10 1/2 (1.49) at the Husker Invite... notched a personal-best long jump of 17-6 3/4 (5.35) at the Holiday Inn Invitational... posted a personal-best throw of 39-3 3/4 (11.98) in the shot put at the Nebraska Tune-Up... finished with 3,334 points in the pentathlon at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite.

Malone joined the Huskers from Fillmore Central High School in Geneva, Neb... recorded marks of 18-11 1/2 in the long jump and 38-3 in the triple jump... earned the 2012 Class C State title in the long jump (18-11 1/2), also finished third in the triple jump (36-6) and fifth in the 200 meters (26.63)... captured the 2011 Nebraska Class C State triple jump champion ship with a leap of 36-6 1/2... finished third in the 200 meters (25.92) and second in the long jump (18-0 3/4) at the 2011 state meet.
