Indoor: Posted the second-best shot put mark in school history with a 68-7 1/4 (20.91m) at the NCAA Indoor Championships, finishing as the runner-up...Secured the shot put title at the Big Ten Indoor Championships with a distance of 68-5 (20.85m)...Won the shot put at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational, throwing 66-6 (20.27m)...Finished as runner-up in the shot put at the Tyson Invitational and the Texas Tech Open with marks of 66-9 1/4 (20.35m) and 67-0 (20.42m).
Outdoor: Placed 10th in the shot put (64-9 3/4, 19.75m) and 20th in the discus (183-1, 55.81m) at the NCAA Championships…secured the Big Ten title in the shot put with a personal-best 69-11 1/2 (21.32m)…added a runner-up finish in the discus at the conference meet with a 185-10 (56.64m)…placed second in the shot put (65-2, 19.86m) and fifth in the discus (183-6, 55.94m) at the Michael Johnson Invitational…threw for 65-4 1/4 (19.92m) in the shot put, finishing second at the Jim Click Shootout.
Before Nebraska
Competed five seasons at Washington…three-time All-American in his time with the Huskies…finished top-10 at both the NCAA Indoor and Outdoor Championships in 2021, earning a pair of All-America honors in the shot put…earned First-Team All-America honors after placing eighth at the outdoor championships with a season-best mark of 64-6 1/2…became the first Husky to score at NCAA Outdoor in the shot put since 1996…placed third in the shot put and fourth in the discus at the 2021 Pac-12 Championships…qualified for NCAA Outdoor Championships in discus and shot put in 2019…finished 16th in the shot put to earn second-team All-America recognition…was the first Husky since 2000 to qualify for NCAA Outdoors in both the discus and shot put.
