2021 (Senior) 
Mitch Tyndall rounded out his career as a Husker as an All-American after finishing fourth on pommel horse at the NCAA Championships. Tyndall was a consistent contributor for NU earning a career-high score on pommel during the season. 

Outside of the gym, Tyndall earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for his dedication in the classroom. 

2020 (Junior) 
Tyndall competed regularly on pommel horse, rings and parallel bars before the season ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic. Tyndall earned his first individual title against Iowa on parallel bars. Tyndall also earned four new career-high scores. 

Tyndall was also a leader in the classroom earning a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, Academic All-Big Ten honors and the Nebraska Bronze Academic Medallion. 

2019 (Sophomore)
Tyndall competed regularly on pommel horse, rings and parallel bars before the season ended early due to the coronavirus pandemic. Tyndall earned his first individual title against Iowa on parallel bars. He produced four new career high scores. 

Tyndall was also a leader in the classroom earning a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll, Academic All-Big Ten honors and the Nebraska Bronze Academic Medallion.

2018 (Freshman)
Tyndall redshirted his first season at Nebraska, while working to make the adjustment to collegiate gymnastics. He focused on working on all events in order to prepare him for his first competitive season in 2019. Tyndall supported his team and his community outside of the gym, earning spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2017-18. He also earned a spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2018.

Before Nebraska
A 5-7 all-arounder, Tyndall competed for Taiso Gymnastics Club under the direction of Coach Markos Baikas. Tyndall’s impressive resume included a top finish in the all-around at the 2015 University of Calgary International Cup, as well as a first-place all-around finish at the 2016 Peter Vidmar Invitational in Los Angeles. Additionally, Tyndall claimed the Provincial All-Around Title in 2015 and 2016. Tyndall was also a member of the Canadian Junior National Team from 2012 to 2013.

Tyndall attended Holy Cross High School where he was a four-time member of the honor roll. Mitch also played baseball, football and hockey.

Personal
The son of Don and Janice Tyndall, Mitch has two brothers, Wyatt and Jesse. Both competed for Big Ten gymnastics teams, Jesse at Ohio State, and Wyatt a recent graduate of Penn State. A three-time Academic All-Big Ten choice, Mitch is an eight-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection. 

In his free time, he enjoys dirt biking, fishing, wakeboarding and hunting.
