Nicole Lape Season 2011-12

2011-12 (Season Outlook)
Nicole Lape came to Nebraska from Rockford Christian High School in Illinois and provided depth to the Husker team as a true freshman. Lape was a three-time MVP in the Northern Athletic Conference

Before Nebraska
Lape left her mark as a bowler at Rockford Christian by winning MVP honors in the Northern Athletic Conference three times. She was also a Northern Illinois Bowling Conference Girls Bowler of the Year. An accomplished league bowler, Lape had the high league average three consecutive years. Lape held a 206 average during her senior season of high school, earning her All-State accolades. She also finished 11th individually at the 2011 Illinois State Tournament with a 2,558 pinfall, including a 290 game. 

Personal
Nicole was born to Randy and Andrea Lape on Oct. 25, 1992. She has two sisters, Sarah and Jessica. Nicole is majoring in family science at Nebraska
