Before Nebraska
A graduate of Cambridge High School, Porter chose to bowl for Sun Prairie High School's bowling club where she would have an illustrious career, becoming Singles District Champion in 2023 through 2025, being named Freshman of the Year, Player of the Year and MVP during that time. She was named to the All-District team in 2022 and 2023, leading her team to win the Wisconsin State Championship in 2022.
Porter also shined individually, being named Wisconsin High School Bowling State Champion and High School Bowling National Champion in 2024, as well as Wisconsin Pepsi State Champion in 2024 and 2025.
Personal
Maggie is the daughter of Jeremy and Abby Porter along with her siblings Libby and Kodiak. She has not yet decided on a major but embraces the academic challenge that Nebraska can offer her. While at Cambridge, Maggie also played softball.
