Outlook
The reigning El Paso, Texas, high school player of the year, Kyndle Tooke comes to Nebraska looking to compete for a spot in the Husker lineup. Tooke brings national-level experience, as she was the El Paso representative at the Junior Olympic Gold Tournament in June of 2002 in Tampa, Fla.

"The experience Kyndle has gained competing against the best junior players in the country has given her a solid start in knowing what it takes to succeed in the highly competitive world of intercollegiate bowling," Coach Bill Straub said. "In time, with an abundance of potential already shown, Kyndle will be a star player at this level."

Before Nebraska: Tooke attended El Paso High School and competed for the Lane Cruisers club team. As a senior, she helped her club team to a league title and was chosen El Paso Junior Bowler of the Year. Tooke also took first at the All Events City Tournament in each of the past five years. She selected NU over Southern Louisiana, Texas El-Paso and Florida State.
