A 1998 All-American selection, Kimberly Claus was a member of the IBC National Team in 1998.  The 1998-99 season brought Claus a second national championship and continued personal success both on the lanes and in the classroom. After three years as a Husker, Claus won two national championships and All-American awards both athletically and academically.

During the 1997-98 season, Claus was looked upon as a team leader on a team beset with personnel losses through graduation.  The consummate student-athlete, Claus was honored as a 1998 Academic All-American.

As a freshman in 1996, Claus contributed to Nebraska's national championship by posting the highest average on the team and garnering All-American honors.

Already a stellar bowler, Claus came to Nebraska fter a distinguished prep career at North Mesquite High School in Mesquite, Texas.  In 1996, Claus graduatedd and was named the Alberta E. Crowe Star winner, signifying the best youth bowler in the country.
