Kelly Huddleston did not see action in competition during the 2016-17 season, but the Papillion, Neb., native added depth to the roster.
Huddleston continued her strong work outside the lanes, as she earned a spot on the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2017.
2015-16 (Redshirt)
Huddleston redshirted during the 2015-16 season. She got off to a strong start academically, as she was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters. Huddleston was also named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2016.
Before Nebraska
Huddleston finished her career at Papillion-La Vista South as one of the top bowlers in Nebraska. She won four high school state championships bowling for Coach Tony Manna. She was a member of the National Honor Society and made her school's honor roll all four years.
Personal
The daughter of Charles and Joni Huddleston, Kelly was born on Aug. 1, 1997. She has one sister, Emily. Kelly is majoring in chemical engineering and earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2018. She is a four-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection and a three-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
