2025-26 (Redshirt Junior)
Kathryn Bowman did not compete in her fourth year as a Husker, but she did excel off the lanes. She earned a Nebraska Outstanding Scholar Award and was named to the Conference USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll for her academic achievements. She was also a member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for the fourth consecutive year. Bowman is also a three year Academic All-Big Ten. 

2024-25 (Redshirt Sophomore)
Bowman excelled in the classroom, earning her third selection to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team (2023, 2024, 2025) and a spot on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.

2023-24 (Redshirt Freshman)
Bowman made her Husker debut in the 2023-24 season playing a total of six games in two tournaments. In her first tournament at the Stormin’ Blue and White Vegas Classic, Bowman bowled five games for a total pinfall of 994 and a 22nd-place finish. Bowman would add one more game during the season at the Flyer Classic with a 169, bringing her season total to 1,163. Off the lanes, Bowman continued to excel academically earning Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for her fourth consecutive semester, as well as her second consecutive selection to the Tom Osborne citizenship Team (2023, 2024).

2022-23 (Redshirt)
Bowman redshirted in her first year in the Husker program. She performed well in the classroom, earning spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters of 2022-23. 

Before Nebraska
Bowman joined the Huskers after a decorated career at Peru High School in New York. She was the captain of the 2022 Dexter High School All-America team and the only two-time selection among the 10 members (men’s or women’s). She was a three-time NYSPHSAA Section VII Girls Champion and a five-time all-section team member. Bowman was also named Champlain Valley Athletic Conference Most Outstanding Female Bowler for three consecutive seasons. She holds conference records for girls’ high average (211), high series (764) and high game (289). At the national level, she earned runner-up honors in doubles at the 2021 Youth Open Championships and a 13th-place finish at the U15 Junior Gold Championships in 2019. Bowman also excelled in the classroom, carrying a 4.78 GPA (weighted) and was the valedictorian of her class. She earned the John J. Herbert Memorial All-Academic Award, was a member of the National Honor Society and an AP Scholar. In addition, she received the United States Bowling Congress Earl Anthony Memorial Scholarship, which recognizes community involvement and academic achievement. 

Personal
The daughter of Rick and Velvett Bowman, Kathryn earned her bachelor's degree from Nebraska as a biochemistry major in May of 2026. She was a seven-time Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll selection. She was also a four-time member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.
