2016-17 (Redshirt Freshman)
Julie Lohman worked hard to add depth to the roster in 2016-17, but she did not see action in a tournament.
Lohman continued her strong work outside the lanes, as she was named to the NTCA All-Academic Team for a second time in 2017. She was also selected to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both semesters and the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2017.
2015-16 (Redshirt)
Lohman redshirted during the 2015-16 season. She got off to a strong start academically, earning a 4.0 grade-point average in her first two semesters. For her efforts, Lohman earned NTCA All-Academic Team honors in 2016. She was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall and spring semesters and the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2016.
Before Nebraska (Jones College Prep)
Lohman ended her high school career as one of the top prep bowlers in the Chicago area. She played for Coach Frank Menzies at Jones College Prep and was coached by Marty Miller her junior and senior years. Lohman finished third in her region in 2014 and took sixth in 2015. She bowled a high game of 267 her senior year. She lettered three times in both track and cross country for Jones College Prep. Lohman was a member of the first honor roll throughout high school, and graduated with a GPA over 4.0.
Personal
The daughter of Terri Lohman and Matt Carroll, Julie was born on Jan. 3, 1997. She has one sister, Emily. Julie is majoring in elementary education and she is a two-time NTCA All-Academic Team member. Lohman is a four-time member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and she was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2016 and 2017.
