A three-time first-team All-American and honorable mention bowler of the year in 1996, Daugherty provided leadership for a cast of newcomers to Nebraska bowling in 1998. Daugherty was selected as the Most Valuable Player in the 1997 Intercollegiate Bowling Championships. She has been named to the IBC All-Tournament team in each of her three seasons at Nebraska and received two gold medals and three silver medals at the FIQ Championships.
