Alexia Cassman did not compete in any tournaments, as Nebraska returned its entire starting lineup from its 2021 NCAA Championship team
2020-21 (Freshman)
Cassman joined the team as a walk-on in October of 2020 and redshirted as she adjusted to college bowling. Cassman earned Academic All-Big Ten honors and claimed three spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll.
Before Nebraska
Cassman was a one of the top youth bowlers in the state of Nevada, competing for Coach Nikkole Turner at Shadow Ridge High School for four seasons. A three-time all-state performer, she was a first-team all-state pick in 2019, averaging a 190.72 and leading Shadow Ridge to a Class 4A state title. Cassman earned a pair of top-five finishes at the state tournament, placing fourth as a freshman and fifth as a senior. Cassman had a high game of 268 and a high series of 681, both set as a senior. She earned four varsity letters in both bowling and tennis in high school. In the classroom, she was a three-time scholar-athlete at Shadow Ridge.
Personal
The daughter of Arthur Cassman, Alexia is double majoring in biology and forensic science. She earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2021 and 2022. She also claimed spots on the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in both the fall and spring semesters of 2020-21.
