Michael Pritchard joined the Nebraska baseball staff as a graduate manager in the fall of 2017.
Pritchard played for the Huskers from 2011 to 2014, and played in the Minor Leagues from 2014 to 2016. While at Nebraska, he was an All-American in 2012, and earned All-Big Ten honors on three occasions, making the first team in 2012 and 2014. He was a second-team honoree in 2013.
Pritchard had 251 hits during his Husker career, the sixth-most in program history, and hit .339 over his four years. His 45 career doubles are tied for 10th in Nebraska history.
Following the 2014 season, he signed as an undrafted free agent with the St. Louis Cardinals. Pritchard made stops with the Gulf Coast League Cardinals (Rookie League), State College Spikes (Class A Short Season) and Palm Beach Cardinals (Class A-Advanced) while in the Minors.
Pritchard graduated from Nebraska in December 2015 with a degree in criminology and criminal justice.
