2019-20 (Senior)
Raquel Orozco had a successful final year with the Huskers. Orozco competed in all of the tournaments Nebraska went to this year and had five Top-10 finishes during the season. Her highest finish of the season was third, which was reached at the Columbia 300 Saints with an average of 212.00 and the Big Red Invitational (223.80).

Orozco won 2020 NTCA Bowler of the Year and won First-Team All-American Honors. She led the nation in Strike Percentage, Baker Double Percentage, and Baker Frame Scoring. She was named Nebraska Female Athlete of the Year and was also named a part of the 2020 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

2018-19
(Junior)
Raquel Orozco continued to be a powerhouse for Nebraska as a junior in 2018-19, capturing first-team NTCA All-America honors for the second consecutive season. She posted a 205.8 average on the season and earned three individual top-10 tournament finishes while helping the Huskers to the NCAA semifinals. She competed in all 10 tournaments for the Huskers, posting a season-best pinfall of 1,336 at the Columbia 300 Saints for a season-best 222.6 average. Orozco finished sixth at the Columbia 300 Saints to help the Huskers claim the team title. She posted a season-best fifth-place finish at the Track Kat Klash with a 211.4 average, while adding a sixth-place individual finish with a 219.4 at the Warhawk Classic. 

Orozco earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2019 and was named to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in the fall of 2018. She also claimed a prestigious Sam Foltz Hero 27 Leadership Award in 2019 and was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team for the third consecutive season.

2017-18 (Sophomore)
In her second season at Nebraska, Orozco notched first team All-American accolades. She competed in all nine tournaments for the Huskers in 2017-18 and had an average of 211.4. Orozco recorded a pinfall of 829 in four games to help Nebraska make it to the national semifinal at the NCAA Championship.

Orozco won two tournaments, had five top five finishes and one top 10 finish during the season. She won both the Crusader Classic (1,073) and the Central Missouri Invitational (1,038). Her best pinfall of the season was 1,199 at the Prairie View A&M Invite. Orozco posted an average above 200 in seven of Nebraska’s nine tournaments throughout the year.

During her sophomore season, Orozco continued her stellar work in the classroom and community. She received the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award and was a member of the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll. Orozco also continued being a role model in the community and was named to the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

2016-17 (Freshman)
Orozco became an immediate contributor for the Huskers as a freshman in 2016-17, competing in nine of NU's 10 events. She posted an average of 202.3 in 21 games on the season, which ranks sixth among freshman in program history.

Orozco helped the Huskers to a runner-up finish at the NCAA Championship, as she finished 16th overall with an average of 202.6. Orozco finished 19th with an average of 204.6 at the SFA Stormin' Ladyjack Invitational to help the Huskers to a second-place finish.

In three matches at the Central Missouri Mid-America Invitational, Orozco bowled an average of 209.7 to help NU to the team title. At the Mid-Winter Invitational, she came off the bench to bowl a game of 247 on the way to helping NU claim its first tournament championship of the year.

She got off to an excellent start in the classroom and the community, as she was named to the NTCA All-Academic Team in 2017 and the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll in fall and spring semesters of 2016-17. She was also a member of the 2017 Tom Osborne Citizenship Team.

Before Nebraska
Orozco has been a member of Junior Team Mexico for five years and is a six-time national champion. In the summer before her freshman season, Orozco competed for her country as a member of Junior Team Mexico, and saw extended action at the World Bowling Youth Championships at Sun Valley Lanes in Lincoln. She won multiple medals representing her country internationally, including a gold medal in trios at the 2015 Youth Pan American Bowling Confederation Championships in Panama City, Panama. Orozco has posted a high game of 300 and a high series of 790. She became the first player to join the Nebraska bowling program from Mexico.

Personal
Raquel is the daughter of Felipe Orozco and Maribel De Leon. Raquel was born on Jan. 4, 1998. She has one sister, Maribel. A marketing major at Nebraska, Raquel earned her bachelor's degree in May of 2021. She was named to the NTCA All-Academic Team in 2017. Orozco also earned Academic All-Big Ten honors in 2019 and 2020. She was a nine-time selection to the Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll and a four-year member of the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team. She also received the Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar Award during the 2018 season.
