Nebraska vs. Oregon
• Nebraska and Oregon have met just one time on the diamond after facing off in the Big Ten Baseball Tournament in Omaha last season.
• The Huskers picked up a 7-3 win over the No. 4 Ducks to advance to the semifinal round and record their third victory against a top-five foe in 2025.

In the Polls
• Nebraska checked in at No. 19 in the D1Baseball rankings, No. 14 in the Perfect Game and NCBWA polls, No. 17 in the USA Today/Coaches poll and No. 20 in Baseball America's Top 25 after going 4-0 last week against Creighton and Penn State.
• Nebraska is one of four Big Ten teams to appear in the rankings this week, with UCLA (No. 1), USC (No. 14) and Oregon (No. 21) also landing spots in D1Baseball's Top 25 poll.

First Top-25 Big Ten Series Since 2015
• This weekend's series at No. 21 Oregon is Nebraska's first Big Ten series between two ranked teams since 2015.
• In 2015, the 18th-ranked Huskers visited No. 17 Maryland for a three-game series, where the Terrapins swept the Big Red in College Park.

Big Red Off to Third-Best Start This Century
• With a 26-7 start to the season, Nebraska is off to its best start since opening the 2008 campaign with a 26-6-1 mark.
• The 26 wins in the first 33 games are tied for third-most this century, trailing the Huskers' 28-5 start in 2006 and 27-6 record to begin 2005.
• This season marks the third time the Huskers have posted 20-plus wins in the first 33 games under head coach Will Bolt, as the Big Red began 2024 with a 23-10 record and opened the 2021 season with a 22-11 mark.

Huskers Finish March Among Program's Best
• Nebraska compiled an 18-2 record in the month of March, recording one of the best months of March in program history.
• The 18 wins are fourth-most in program history, as the Big Red went 22-0 in 1983, 22-8 in 1984 and 19-2-1 in 2008.
• Additionally, the Huskers recorded the third-best winning percentage all-time in March with a .900 winning percentage, trailing the 1983 (1.000) and 1999 (.923) seasons.
• The Big Red have reached the 15-win mark in the month of March 15 times, including six seasons with at least 17 victories.

A Look at the Weekend Rotation
Ty Horn takes the mound on Friday's series opener and is 1-1 on the season with a 4.70 ERA in 38.1 innings this season with 40 strikeouts across eight starts.
• Redshirt sophomore Carson Jasa gets the nod on Saturday and is 6-1 with a 3.64 ERA and 66 punchouts in 42 innings.
Cooper Katskee is scheduled to start Sunday's series finale and is 5-0 with a 2.79 ERA with 45 strikeouts and an opposing batting average of .174 in 38.2 innings this season.

Jasa Racking up Punchouts at Historic Pace
Carson Jasa has totaled 66 strikeouts through eight starts, marking the fifth time an NU pitcher has 65-plus punchouts through their first eight starts since 2000.
• The right-hander has three quality starts on the year and has seven starts with at least eight strikeouts, including 10 punchouts against Maine and Indiana and a career-high 11 strikeouts vs. Penn State.
• In his last five starts, Jasa is 5-0 with a 2.08 ERA and 48 strikeouts in 30.1 innings while holding opponents to a .194 batting average.
• Jasa joins Shane Komine and Joba Chamberlain as the only NU pitchers this century with at least 65 strikeouts through their first eight starts.

Mac Attack: Moyer Pacing Big red in Leadoff Spot
Mac Moyer leads the Big Ten in batting average (.406) and hits (52) while ranking 25th and 13th nationally in those respective categories through 33 games.
• The leadoff hitter has reached base at a .500 clip, collecting 52 hits and 24 walks in 128 at-bats while scoring a team-high 39 runs, good for third in the Big Ten and 45th nationally.
• Moyer is one of 11 players nationally to score 39 times and hit at least .400 at the plate this season.

Notables on the 2026 Campaign
• With wins against No. 7 Auburn and No. 16 Florida State this season, the Big Red are 8-5 against ranked opponents in the last two seasons.
• Nebraska is 11-1 in Big Ten play and is off to its best conference since 1984, where the Big Red opened Big Eight action with a 13-1 record.
• Nebraska has recorded multiple 10-game win streaks in the same season for the first time since 2006 after posting win streaks 10 and 11 games this season.
• The Big Red is 15-1 in home games this season, recording their best home start since opening the home slate with a 17-0 record in 2005.
• With Mac Moyer and Dylan Carey leading the Big Red with 52 and 51 hits, respectively, the Huskers are one of three teams nationally with two players with 50-plus hits on the season.

Dylan Carey ranks among the top eight of DI's active career leaders in four categories, including second in at-bats (799), third in doubles (57), fifth in games played (208) and eighth in hits (232).
