Named to the Pitcher of the Year Award Watch List. • Made 16 appearances on the mound, starting in 15 games for the Huskers. • Went 4-4 with a 3.89 ERA. • Totaled 81 strikeouts in 69.1 innings. • Limited opposing hitters to a .251 batting average. • Had six outings with at least five innings pitched. • Pitched a complete game against Michigan State, allowing two runs on three hits with a career-high 11 strikeouts in seven innings. • Totaled six-plus strikeouts in six outings. • Struck out career-high 11 batters against Michigan State and compiled nine punchouts against No. 14 Oregon and Maine. • Tallied wins against No. 16 Florida State, Michigan State, Creighton and Illinois.

Made 17 appearances on the mound in first season with the Huskers. • Went 3-0 with a 3.80 ERA. • Struck out 22 hitters in 21.1 innings. • Limited opposing hitters to a .250 batting average. • Had four outings of at least two innings, including a season-high three innings vs. Washington. • Pitched two innings vs. Creighton and Kansas and 2.1 innings against Pepperdine. • Picked up wins against Wichita State, Pepperdine and Kansas State. • Made seven appearances with at least two strikeouts. • Totaled a season-high three punchouts against Washington.
Olathe South High School
Tabbed the No. 4 right-handed pitcher and No. 6 overall prospect in the state of Kansas by Prep Baseball Report. • Named Most Valuable Player of the state tournament while leading the Olathe South to the state championship. • Finished second all-time in school history in strikeouts. • Went 2-0 with a 0.71 ERA and 41 strikeouts in 20 innings as a senior. • Earned first-team all-state and all-conference honors after going 6-1 with a 1.74 ERA and 84 punchouts in 50 innings in junior season. • Named Rookie of the Year and second-team all-conference as a sophomore. • Compiled 4-2 record with a 2.12 ERA and 58 strikeouts in 40 innings in sophomore season.

Parents are Jim and Tracy Blachowicz. • Has three brothers, Ayden, Cameron and Jeter. • Brother, Ayden, plays college baseball at Central Missouri. • Nutrition and health sciences major.
