Camenzind and Kuszak homered for NU.
Alexis Jensen (15-2) grabbed the win in the circle. She threw six innings with three runs and four hits, along with nine strikeouts. Frahm earned her ninth save of the season after coming in in relief and adding two strikeouts.

In the bottom of the fourth, Emmerson Cope walked and was pinch run for by Kennadi Williams. A Bland sacrifice bunt sent Williams to second and a Jensen single put runners on first and third. L. Camenzind reached on a fielder’s choice that scored Williams and sent Dakota Carter, who pinch ran for Jensen, to second. Carter scored on a Coor fielder’s choice to extend the lead to 5-0.
Rutgers added a run in the top of the sixth and mounted a comeback with two runs in the top of the seventh, but NU held on to grab the 5-3 win.
