Freshman Ailis Tribolet posted Nebraska's best individual finish, tying for 29th to help the Huskers to a 17th-place finish at the 18-team Big Ten Championship presented by Allstate on Sunday.
Tribolet, a first-year Husker from Chandler, Ariz., closed with a three-round total of 221 (+11) on the par-70 layout of the Oakmont Country Club in Glendale, Calif. After an opening-round 77 (+7) on Friday, Tribolet closed with back-to-back rounds of 72 (+2) on Saturday and Sunday.
Redshirt junior Symran Shah was Nebraska's No. 2 finisher at the conference championship, ending her tournament with a 54-hole score of 226 (+16). Shah led the Big Red with a 71 (+1) in Saturday's second round before capping her season with a 76 (+6) on Sunday. Shah, who tied for 55th overall, opened the tournament with a 79 (+9) on Friday.
Junior Hannah Kono finished 71st and redshirt senior Brooke Bream tied for 79th, while playing in all three rounds for the Huskers. Kono closed a 233 (+23) with rounds of 79, 79 and 75, while Bream managed a 236 (+26) with rounds of 77, 80 and 79 in the first conference tournament appearance of her career.
Redshirt junior Lauren Thiele contributed a second-round 76 for the Huskers, before adding a 79 in Sunday's final round. She replaced freshman Kaleigh Babineaux as a substitute in Nebraska's lineup after Babineaux put up an opening-round 79 on Friday.
As a team, Nebraska finished with a three-round total of 912 (+72), defeating Wisconsin by 10 strokes.
Southern California claimed the team title with a final score of 844 (277-279-288) - the lowest winning score in the history of the event. The Trojans took the team title by 12 strokes over runner-up Ohio State.
Big Ten Champion Jasmine Koo led the Trojans with a 207 (69-70-68) to capture the individual title at three under par. USC teammate Bailey Shoemaker and Ohio State's Nellie Ong tied for second at 209 (-1).
They were joined on the Big Ten All-Championship Team (Top 5 plus ties) by Purdue's Luana Valero and Lauren Timpf, Michigan State's Taylor Kehoe, Minnesota's Isabella McCauley and Ohio State's Sophie Eppelstun.
The NCAA Division I Women's Golf Championship field will be announced on the Golf Channel on Wednesday, April 29 at 3 p.m. (CT) with qualifiers split into six regional sites.
Regional play will take place May 11-13 in Ann Arbor, Mich., Chapel Hill, N.C., Huntsville, Ala., Stanford, Calif., Tallahassee, Fla., and Waco, Texas.
