• Nebraska and Penn State have met 21 times on the diamond, with the Huskers holding a 19-2 lead over the Nittany Lions in the all-time series.
• The last two meetings between the two programs have been at the Big Ten Baseball Tournament in 2024 and 2025. The Huskers defeated Penn State 6-3 in the semifinal round of last year's Big Ten Tournament after defeating the Nittany Lions 2-1 in the 2024 Big Ten Championship Game.

Big Red Off to Best Start Since 2008
• With a 23-6 start to the season, Nebraska is off to its best start since opening the 2008 campaign with a 24-4-1 mark.
• The 23 wins in the first 29 games are tied for fifth-most this century, trailing the 24 victories in 2004, 2006 and 2008 and the Big Red's 25-4 start in the 2005 campaign.

• Nebraska is in its 25th season playing at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park this year and hasn't had a losing season at home in any of the last 24 seasons.
• Following the series sweep of Indiana last weekend, the Huskers are 452-183-1 in 635 all-time games at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park.
Huskers Finish March Among Program's Best
• Nebraska compiled an 18-2 record in the month of March, recording one of the best months of March in program history.
• The 18 wins are fourth-most in program history, as the Big Red went 22-0 in 1983, 22-8 in 1984 and 19-2-1 in 2008.
• Additionally, the Huskers recorded the third-best winning percentage all-time in March with a .900 winning percentage, trailing the 1983 (1.000) and 1999 (.923) seasons.
• The Big Red have reached the 15-win mark in the month of March 15 times, including six seasons with at least 17 victories.
A Look at the Weekend Rotation
• Ty Horn takes the mound on Friday's series opener and is 1-1 on the season with a 3.31 ERA in 35.1 innings this season with 38 strikeouts across seven starts.
• Redshirt sophomore Carson Jasa gets the nod on Saturday and is 5-1 with a 4.11 ERA and 55 punchouts in 35 innings of work.
• Cooper Katskee is scheduled to start Sunday's series finale and is 4-0 with a 2.56 ERA with 39 strikeouts and an opposing batting average of .184 in 31.2 innings this season.

Jasa Racking up Punchouts at Historic Pace
• Carson Jasa has totaled 55 strikeouts through seven starts, marking the fifth time an NU pitcher has 50-plus punchouts before April since 2000.
• The right-hander has two quality starts on the year and has six starts with at least eight strikeouts, including a career-high 10 punchouts against Maine and Indiana.
• Jasa joins Shane Komine and Joba Chamberlain as the only NU pitchers with 55-plus strikeouts before April since 2000, while Komine accomplished the feat three times.
Notables on the 2026 Campaign
• With wins against No. 7 Auburn and No. 16 Florida State this season, the Big Red are 8-5 against ranked opponents in the last two seasons.
• The Huskers have recorded three walk-off victories this season. Going back to the final three weeks of the regular season in 2025, the Big Red have totaled seven wins in walk-off fashion.
• Nebraska has run-ruled their opponent four times and has scored 10-plus runs nine times through 29 games this season.

• The Husker offense has scored six-plus runs in 20 of the 23 victories this season after reaching the six-run mark 32 times last season, compiling a 25-7 record.
