The match between Leo Linquet/Colson Wells (NEB) vs. Derek Pham/Charlie Valentine (OSU) at No. 1 doubles was declared unfinished.

Nebraska started off singles play taking five out of the six first sets. Espinosa was the first to step off the singles court winning his match at No. 6 vs. Gokpinar, 6-3, 6-2. Closely after, Wells dropped his match at No. 2 vs. Kobelt, 4-6, 4-6. At No. 1 singles, Linquet won an electric tiebreaker match, taking his match vs. Basile 6-0, 7-6 [7-5].
