Nebraska track and field hits the road for the first time this season to compete at the DeLoss Dodds Invitational hosted by Kansas State. Friday's competition begins at 10:45 a.m., while Saturday's events begin at 10:30 a.m. Admission is free and open to the public as Friday afternoon also serves as part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour with four field events from 7-9 p.m..

Mark Colligan Memorial Recap
The Nebraska men’s track and field won the team title at the Mark Colligan Memorial with 173 points, and the women's team finished second with 164 points on Saturday afternoon at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
In total, the Huskers won 17 event titles and broke two school records.
Dyson Wicker continued his historic run in the pole vault, breaking the school record for the third time this season, clearing 5.72m (18-9 1/4), and moving into second in the NCAA.
Berlyn Schutz added to her school record count, winning the women’s 800m with a time of 2:04.81. Schutz broke the 3,000m school record a week earlier and is also the school record holder in the mile.
Noa Isaia and Mine De Klerk won the Male and Female Throwers of the Meet awards. Isaia won his second weight throw title of the year with a mark of 69-7 (21.21m). De Klerk won the women’s shot put title at 60-3 1/4 (18.37m) and improved on her PR and No. 3 mark in school history.
Jaylee Wingate (2:06.90) finished third in the 800m with the second-fastest time in school history. Amelia Flynt added a shot put PR of her own, throwing 17.16m (56-3 ¾), finishing second.
Kelsie Belquist (23.76) ran the ninth-fastest women’s 200m time in school history to claim first.
Donna Douglas won the women’s weight throw for the third time this season with a mark of 19.35m (63-6). Harshita Sehrawat claimed second with a personal best throw of 19.17m (62-10 ¾).
Four Husker men dominated the men’s weight throw competition, adding 16 points to the team total. Isaia took first with a mark of 21.21m (69-7). Brett Schwartz (20.43m, 67-0 ½ ) and Seth Schnakenberg (20.15m, 66-1 ½) completed the podium sweep for NU.
Freshman Hencu Lamberts got his second win of the season in the men’s shot put, throwing 18.11m (59-5).
Kavian Kerr added nine more points to the team total, winning the men’s long jump title with a mark of 7.56m (24-9 3/4).
Xavier Bogan (2nd - 15.15m, 49-8 ½) and Ronaldo Andrews (3rd - 14.73m, 48-4) added 13 points to the team total in the men’s triple jump.
Ela Velepec jumped a personal best, 1.86m (6-1 ¼), to take first in the women’s high jump competition. Mason Kooi earned the men’s high jump title, clearing 2.14m (7-0 ¼).
Arina Razina earned her second event title of the season by winning the women’s pole vault title, clearing 4.20m (13-9 ¼).
Ali Bainbridge finished second overall running a new personal record time of 4:43.59, the No. 9 time in school history.
Sydney Drevlow (1:34.17) earned a first-place finish in the women’s 600m. Jordan Metzler strided to second place and set a new personal record of 1:34.28.
Gabe Nash claimed the men’s 600m title in 1:17.57. Kaleb Sharp (1:52.19) finished in first place of the men’s 800m race to add nine points to the team total.
Alea Hardie ran away with the women’s 3000m title with a time of 9:41.31. On the men’s side, Dennis Chapman earned five points for the Husker men, running 8:16.95. Grant Wasserman finished tenth with a time of 8:30.43.
Abrielle Artley, Victoria Aransiola, Sakena Massiah and Kelsie Belquist helped the Huskers win the women’s 4x400m title, running 3:39.81.
The men’s 4x400m relay came down to the last lap where Nebraska anchor, James Ledbetter, pulled out the win with a team time of 3:14.60 marking the team’s fastest time of the season.
Up next, the Huskers hit the road for the DeLoss Dodds Invitational in Manhattan, Kan., on Jan. 30-31.
